About Tilly Peterson

tilly_peterson03.jpgI was born and educated in Cumbria. I read Philosophy and English Literature at the University of Birmingham for two years, then left to work with disadvantaged children in London and bring up my own family.

I qualified as a counsellor and psychotherapist at The Iron Mill Institute (Devon) and Bath Spa University with a Diploma in Advanced Counselling and a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy.

This training encompassed Transactional Analysis, Gestalt therapy and a person-centred approach brought together in an Integrative framework.

I am a Registered Accredited Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and work within their ethical framework of good practice, click here to visit the BACP website.

I now have twenty years experience in private practice; counselling, supervising, work consultancy for the caring professions and teaching.

I do short-term and long-term work with individuals and couples and have particular experience and interest in:
